If you love fire engines, you’ll love visiting the Los Angeles County Fire Museum. It’s a public museum that celebrates the history of the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Currently, there are 60 antique fire engines in its collection. They range from early 1860s models to newly retired fire apparatus. The museum’s extensive collection of fire engines gives you a fascinating look at the evolution of the fire service.

The museum features displays of fire fighting equipment, old fire trucks, and items from the world-famous TV series Emergency. There are also a number of exhibits in tribute to Kevin Woyjeck, who tragically died in the Los Angeles County Fire. And don’t forget to take some time to explore the museum’s new building, which is scheduled to open in 2019.
